Vancouver Skate Plaza New Line Skateparks
The skate park is named in memory of Lee Matasi, an aspiring artist and skateboarder who was tragically shot and killed in Gastown in 2005. The 7m high, 49m long, abandoned tunnel in East Vancouver has evolved into an informal place for free-form skateboarding, BMX cycling and occasional events. The tunnel has around 12 hand-built obstacles.

I can tell this skate park will benefit begginers like me who can only Ollie down 5 stairs. I would say fair oaks is close to being better than the Santa Clara skate park. My first and only experience at Fair Oaks was not very welcoming (it was scary). Overall Santa Clara skatepark is very fun for begginers and people getting into Skating!

Every time I taken Mamba here the run is empty, which is fine by us since Mamba's main thing is to "niff" around. Gotta tell ya a funny story. One day I took Mamba to Greer park.
